Clean Freak Patrol At Health Minister's BBQ

TORONTO, ON, August 27, 2007 —On Saturday, August 18th, the Clean Freak Patrol introduced a fun new way to improve kids' hygiene at Ontario Health Minister George Smitherman's Community BBQ.

The Clean Freak Patrol are four lovable cartoon characters who make hand-washing fun for kids using music, animation, online games, comic books, a talking web site, contests, and more. "Hand washing is the best way to prevent the spread of all flu viruses," says Michael Morris, President of Clean Freak Patrol Ltd. "Kids are receptive to cartoon characters, making them great advocates for the cause".

In collaboration with The Creative Marketing Network (www.starcmn.com) and Toronto Agency Giant Step (www.giantstep.ca), Clean Freak Patrol has launched a national Back-to-School public awareness campaign, which includes outdoor billboards, television ads, an interactive website at www.CleanFreakPatrol.com and special kid-friendly hygiene products exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart (www.shoppersdrugmart.ca) featuring the Clean Freak Patrol cartoon characters and their message: "Spread the word, not the germs".
